The Surface Family has decided to start a blog so we can share ideas on cooking, landscaping, gardening or anything else our heart desires. We are a family full of people who love to cook and talk about cooking more than anything, so we thought it would fun to spread the JOY!

We now carry Grateful Growers Pork and it is fantastic! Try these.

Grateful Growers Ground Pork Asian Burgers - seriously these are the BEST... My family's favorite burger. What a great change and they are so juicy and delicious.

1 lb. ground pork
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper

Make 4 patties and grill about 7 - 8 minutes each side with grill open. (Get the grill really hot and then turn it down to medium right before you put them on)

Serve on a bun with hoisin sauce and coleslaw.
You can use regular slaw or give it an asian flair with some chopped red bell pepper, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, cilantro and peanuts.
Also great with Sirachi sauce if you like it HOT.

You can also make them with the traditional fixins!

Enjoy! Krista
